Do I need solar panels to get a battery? +
A battery needs solar to charge from, but the panels do not have to exist yet. If you already have solar, a battery bolts on. If you do not, we install solar and battery together, and the combined rebates usually make that the better value path.
Am I eligible for the rebate? +
Most owner occupied homes with solar, new or existing, qualify for the federal battery rebate of around 30 percent off eligible systems. It depends on current government program rules, so we check your address and confirm your exact figure at a free assessment.
How much does it cost? +
As a guide, a FoxESS solar battery system starts from $4,999 for 15 kWh, $8,400 for 20 kWh, and $11,200 for 27 kWh or more. These are approximate and already have the maximum available rebate taken off. Prices are subject to change and any additional items needed on site are extra. We size from your actual bill and give a clear cost breakdown upfront.
What happens in a blackout? +
With backup configured, the battery takes over in a fraction of a second and keeps your essential circuits running: lights, fridge, internet and more, depending on system size. Tell us backup matters and we design for it.
How long does the install take? +
Most batteries are installed in a day. Solar plus battery is usually one to two days. Switchboards, EV chargers and lighting are typically same day. Your quote confirms the timeline.
What warranty and after care do I get? +
Batteries carry a 10 year manufacturer warranty and our workmanship is guaranteed. The local team that installed your system is the same team that answers the phone afterwards, and we handle warranty claims for you.
Do you handle the rebate paperwork? +
Yes, all of it. The discount is applied upfront so you pay the reduced price on day one, rather than chasing a refund later.
