The offer in one line

Pay a deposit on a solar battery installation between 1 August and 31 August 2026 and we will reimburse one month of your electricity bill, up to a maximum of $200, once you send us a copy of it.

One month, not a quarter. Most Victorian households are billed every three months. If that is you, we work it out as one third of the quarterly bill. The worked examples below show exactly what that means.

Who qualifies

  • Solar battery installations only. Other electrical work does not qualify. There is no minimum spend on a battery install.
  • You must pay a deposit between 1 August and 31 August 2026 inclusive, Melbourne time. A quote on its own does not qualify.
  • The work itself does not have to be finished in August. If you pay your deposit in August and we install in September or later, you still qualify.

How much you get

  • We reimburse one month of electricity, up to $200 maximum. One month, not a quarter.
  • Billed monthly? Send that bill. We reimburse it, up to $200.
  • Billed quarterly? Send the quarterly bill and we reimburse one third of it, up to $200.
  • If the monthly amount is under $200 we reimburse that amount, not the difference.

Worked examples

  • A monthly bill of $90 is reimbursed at $90.
  • A monthly bill of $260 is reimbursed at $200, the cap.
  • A quarterly bill of $420 works out at $140 a month, so it is reimbursed at $140.
  • A quarterly bill of $750 works out at $250 a month, which is over the cap, so it is reimbursed at $200.

How to claim

  1. Pay your deposit during August 2026.
  2. Send us a copy of your electricity bill. Email it to info@dimelectrical.com.au or text it to 0411 500 799.
  3. The bill must be in the name of the person who paid the deposit, or a member of that household, and be for the property the work relates to.
  4. Send the whole bill, including the part that shows the period it covers. That is how we work out the monthly amount, so a claim without it cannot be assessed.
  5. We reimburse you once we have the bill. This is a reimbursement, not a credit off your invoice, so your job is quoted and invoiced as normal.

Limits

  • One reimbursement per property. Two jobs at the same address still means one payment of up to $200.
  • One month per property. You cannot send three monthly bills and claim for each of them.
  • The offer runs from 1 August 2026 to 31 August 2026 inclusive and is not extended.
